High Martial Era

About Li Changzhou (you can skip reading)

(You can skip reading)

When I woke up, I read a lot of debates among book friends. Because I don’t want to write too much about this aspect later, I will talk about it separately here, or give a summary statement.

1. The tone of this book, especially the early and middle urban chapters, must be more positive, rather than a lone wolf upgrade.

2. Li Yuan is a 17-year-old boy. He is a very crazy practitioner at heart and very stubborn in some aspects. Why does he practice so crazily? Because "hard work can change your destiny" has been giving him positive feedback.

But this age group is also the place where the world view is most susceptible to impact and change, especially when this value impact comes from those closest to and admired. Of course, the growth of this kind of spiritual change will lead to changes in the actions and opinions of the characters before and after, including his gradual changes later on. In fact, it is not easy to write, and I don’t think I wrote it very well. There must be some debate among book friends. Or disagree, I understand.

4. The initial obsession of Li Yuan’s efforts came from “protecting his family”, but as a reader asked, “Why is it so easy for the strong to change their beliefs?”. My answer is because Li Yuan's beliefs were not corrected by his uncle, because Li Yuan was originally correct, but was just fine-tuned. Li Yuan's heart originally agreed with or fit in with his uncle's beliefs and ideas, but it was only limited by his age and experience. Didn't see clearly.

The previous article has actually paved the way for three things. When he can escape on the street, he subconsciously fights with the Yuling Tribe to save people. In the actual combat assessment, he takes the initiative to save Dong Haifeng as soon as possible (Dong Haifeng has shown hostility before, he can definitely be slower. Wait until Dong Haifeng is eliminated before taking action) and take the initiative to help Li Tianyou. It was his uncle's words and deeds from childhood to adulthood, coupled with the years of education he received, that made him agree with Li Changzhou's philosophy in his bones. I think this should be no problem, but it’s not clearly stated in the book.

Including paying taxes several times, Li Yuan only made fun of it, but he agreed with it in his heart.

5. Li Changzhou is not a saint. He's just a good guy with his own beliefs.

His behavior was consistent, from initially voluntarily applying to go to the front line, to making contributions to becoming a hero, and finally rejecting Li Yuan's large bailout with national rewards.

There are actually two core points he told Li Yuan: 1. Everyone has selfishness, but selfishness should be within limits, and he himself also has selfishness. 2. Don’t think the whole world is dark just because of a small amount of injustice.

In the former, when Li Yuan gave hundreds of thousands to two million to his family, including Li Yuan letting him move into a villa, the essence was because he felt that it would not affect Li Yuan's general practice, and at the same time, it would also allow Li Yuan to practice with more peace of mind, so he Didn't refuse. He is also selfish, who doesn't want to live a better life?

But this time, Li Yuan wants to spend more than 70 million, and he will spend it within two years. Based on his own judgment, Li Changzhou feels that this has far exceeded the selfish bottom line, because Li Yuan has just entered university at this time, and it takes time to practice. A lot of money, and the money mainly comes from the state.

Li Changzhou's personality made it impossible for him to spend this money with such peace of mind. If he accepted it with peace of mind, it would be the collapse of this character.

What I want to emphasize here is that if Li Yuan paid to save his aunt's life or the lives of his younger siblings, but was rejected by Li Changzhou, there would be a lot of room for discussion. But the money was to be spent on Li Changzhou himself, and it was not to save lives, but to extend life expectancy, and then he himself rejected it. There is an essential difference.

The important thing is mentioned three times: it was Li Changzhou himself who refused to have his life extended; Rather than simply Li Yuan being persuaded to give up.

Among them, how to grasp the degree of selfishness is actually a proof of freedom of mind. I will not elaborate on it in detail.

The second one is that he hopes that Li Yuan can make his own judgment. This is because as an elder, he hopes that his beliefs and views can be correctly passed on to his younger generation. I think this is a very common thing, just like in reality, elders always use their own opinions. Educate your children from a perspective. Not much to expand on.

6. The reason why Li Yuan quickly accepted Li Changzhou’s opinion was actually foreshadowed in the previous article. That is, he did not dare to tell Li Changzhou directly, but asked Wan Qinghe to conceal it, because he had a deep understanding of his uncle's character and conduct, and had already predicted that once his uncle knew the truth, there would be a 90% chance that he would be rejected.

7. The purpose of this book is not to create a moral saint, or to write about a morally perfect person.

It is difficult to write about Virtue Saint, let alone a novel that is positioned as a "pleasant article". I am not at that level.

When I created the character Li Yuan, my core concept was "no loss at all."

He will joke when getting along with his classmates; he will be careful when getting along with his elders, hoping that the elders will have a better impression of him; he will not shout "this is unfair to other people" and then report it when he gets the information in advance during the actual combat assessment; he has money in hand. He will consider the people closest to him immediately; when he sees the monetary target rewarded by the school or martial arts palace, he will subconsciously want to get more money; when he sees his uncle receiving unfair treatment, he will feel angry and complain in his heart.

Including later, he will have many descriptions and small choices that are not in line with the "moral saint".

He is a real person, and in the book he is just a 17-year-old boy.

However, when faced with some key choices, he will make choices that are in line with his deepest beliefs.

The above is the complete summary statement.

If you have different opinions on what you want to say, you can speak freely in this chapter, but the book review section will not allow debate.

In the future, I will try my best to describe this aspect directly. Thank you for your support.
